Naval combat from previous games in the series also plays an important role in Odyssey. Now discussing the storyline of the game, it has to do with the ancient Peloponnesian War, which took place between 431 and 422 BC between Athens and Sparta. Players control a Spartan mercenary who fights on both sides of the conflict in an attempt to find his family and bring down the mysterious Cosmic Cult.

“Odyssey” also continues the story of “Origin” protagonist Leila Hassan, who uses the Animus Device to resurrect the memories of mercenaries in order to find a powerful artifact.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Guide

The second DLC storyline for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey takes players into the fate of Atlantis, immersing them in the lush fields of Elysium, the afterlife paradise for heroes. The Eagle Bearer embarks on a journey to master the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus, overcome challenges, harness its power, and exit Elysium safely. In order to surprise players, we will avoid detailed story spoilers in this guide.

Be careful, though, as spoilers may still exist. For those looking for help with Episode 2 – The Torments of Hades, we have a dedicated guide. This guide assumes completion of all optional quests in the DLC, including “Give Them Hell” and “Free Their Minds, and the Rest Will Follow.” Similar to the main game, players will encounter many decision points on their way to the conclusion. Here are our recommendations for achieving a favorable outcome:

Dark horse mission

In the mission “Dark Horse”, the player must decide the fate of an old man’s horse – whether to let him keep it, give it to Persephone, or give it to Adonis.

our choice

We chose to give the horse to Adonis. Afterwards, the player can choose to scare the stable boy to prevent Persephone from discovering the exchange.

good news mission

When tasked with bringing Silvertongue recruits into Adonis’s cause, players will choose the message they want her to spread.

our choice

We chose “Adonis will lead mankind to freedom,” despite knowing that it might be used against us later in the story. Guardians and Kairos Mission: After rescuing Kairos, players should immediately escort him to Hermes and Persephone without delay, as lingering will frustrate Hermes.

Guardian and Flame Quest

At the end of this quest, players should keep the flame for themselves and not share the recipe with others. Guardian, Killer Mission: During the initial dialogue, the player should confirm that Hermes is not the killer. But in the end he agreed to eliminate the captain and expressed his satisfaction in order to maintain his friendship with Hermes.

Persephone’s Bird Quest

Players must decide whether to target the blacksmith or the courier, as the courier poses a greater immediate threat to the rebellion.

Do another drink mission

Choosing not to give the waters of Lethe to the recipient but to destroy them has significant consequences, exposing Hecate’s betrayal of Persephone.

Popular tasks

While allying themselves with Hecate and the rebels, players should destroy all three wine bottles during the mission, subtly changing events in their favor.

Pursue a lifetime

Players must choose between Phoebe or Brasidas, a decision that affects subsequent events.

lighthouse lighting mission

At the beginning of the mission, players can align themselves with Persephone or Aphrodite. It is recommended to choose Aphrodite for more favorable results.

No good deeds mission

At key moments in the story, players must make careful decisions while keeping an eye on Hekate and Hermes, ensuring Hekate is not alerted.

Rebel uprising mission

In a confrontation with Adonis, choosing “Fight!” to achieve victory will affect the outcome. The player should then seek help from Hermes to maintain their relationship with him. The conclusion unfolds with various outcomes, leading to an interesting cliffhanger to be resolved in subsequent parts.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Guide

The story of “The Odyssey” begins in 480 BC, when King Leonidas led the Spartan army to resist the Persian attack at the Battle of Thermopylae. The battle was won, but the captured enemy informed Leonidas that the Persian army had heard about the pass and would surround the Spartans in the morning. However, Leonidas decided to stop the Persian attack.

In 2018, Layla Hassan obtained the Spear of Leonidas and extracted the DNA of her grandchildren Alexios and Kassandra, which her Animus used to locate Herme The headquarters of Trismegistus. The sibling chosen by the player (and Layla) is called Kotkapandja. In 431 BC, at the beginning of the Peloponnesian War, Kotkapanja was hired by the mysterious merchant Elpino. After befriending a fleet captain named Barnabas and taking command of his Adrestia, he killed the “Wolf of Sparta” in the city of Megaris and left the island of Cephalonia.

In Megaris, the bearer of the eagle learned that the “Wolf of Sparta” was actually Nicholas’ nickname; that Nicholas was not actually their biological father, and that he had another adopted son, Stantor; their mother Mi Linna left Nicholas and Sparta shortly after the incident at Mount Taygetus. Cotcancanto travels to Phocis to meet with Elpino, who reveals that he is a member of the Cult of the Universe and knows of their lineage as Leonidas’s grandson.

Wearing Elpino masks and robes, the Falcon Bearers infiltrate a secret cult meeting in Delphi, where they discover that the cult is targeting their family, and their younger brother survived the fall of Mount Taygetos, but Manipulated by a cult. Become their master and be called Deimo. The Bearer of the Eagle went on a long journey across the Greek world with Barnabas and Herodotus, and then met Mylene, an oligarch in the city-state of Naxos under the alias Phoenix.

Milena persuaded her eldest son to persuade the Spartan government to restore his citizenship and ancestral property, and together they continued to undermine the cult’s activities in the Greek world.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gameplay

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a game where the action is viewed from a third-person perspective. When the game begins, players can choose to play as Alexios or Kassandra, a Greek mercenary and descendant of King Leonidas I of Sparta. In addition to completing the story campaign, players are free to explore a vast open world. In Greece, on foot or on horseback.

As the game progresses, those who play the game can find a number of non-player characters who provide side quests for the player to complete. They also search for places of interest, clear forts and camps, explore tombs and shipwrecks, and collect hidden treasures. Sync points can also be unlocked at various Greek landmarks that serve as fast travel points. The game allows players to collect many useful resources such as iron ore, wood, leather, metals and precious gems.

Other side activities that players can take part in include competing in the Arena and completing regular bounties and contracts. Unlike previous games in the series, Odyssey offers two game modes: Guided mode uses waypoints to immediately show the player the target location, while in Exploration mode, the player learns the location on his own after a brief prompt from another NPC.
