To find the mask in Alan Wake 2, follow these steps:

• Reach the janitor’s room, where you will meet the janitor.
• Go through the door behind the janitor and go down to the basement.
• At the end of the stairs turn right and enter the door at the end of the path on the right.
• Press and hold the “X” or “A” button to use the Light Shift function.
• Exit this room and immediately turn right. There used to be brick walls, but now you can go downstairs.
• Go to the basement studio and use the light shift there. This will make the shoebox appear.
• It’s crucial to interact with the shoebox and collect photos of Alice from it. This action is necessary to trigger the video at the end of this chapter.
• Now, return to one level and head to the TV at the end of the level, in the northwest room on the map.
• Interact with the TV. It will display a black screen that says “End of Part”.
• After this screen, a new video called “Drowning” will appear in the lower left corner of the screen.

Remember, don’t interact with the TV until you’ve collected Alice’s picture from the shoebox! If you miss this step, you will not be able to get the video and will be considered a miss. In Alan Wake II, the gameplay is different from the first game. This is a survival horror game where you see the characters from the outside rather than from their perspective. You can play as Alan Wake or Saga Anderson in two separate stories. You can choose which story to play first, but some parts can only be played as Saga or Eren.
