For Honor has many different heroes that you can play as. These heroes are divided into five groups: Knights, Vikings, Samurai, Martial Arts, and Outlanders. Each group has its own unique character. For example, the Knights have heroes such as conquerors and guardians of peace, the Vikings have roles such as plunderers and berserkers, the warriors have roles such as Orochi and Samurai Shin, the martial arts has generals, heaven and earth, and the outer lands have pirates, guardians, etc.

Each hero has specific abilities and weapons that make them different from each other. Players can choose their favorite heroes and play as knights, samurai, vikings or other warriors in the game.
