“Fortnite” game information

Fortnite is a popular online video game produced by Epic Games and launched in 2017. It has three different ways to play, but they all have the same basic idea and game engine. In Fortnite Battle Royale you can play for free with up to 100 other players and fight to survive until the end. In Fortnite: Save the World, you team up with friends to fight zombie-like creatures and protect things with traps and fortresses you build. Then there’s Fortnite Creative, where you can create your own worlds and arenas.

Save the World and Battle Royale started as Early Access games in 2017, while Creative launched on December 6, 2018. Fortnite Battle Royale became so popular that in less than a year it had over 125 million players and made a lot of money, probably hundreds of dollars. Millions of dollars per month. Fortnite Save the World | V26.20 Home Status Report

Original stink bow

• The original Stinky Bow will be available in the event store beginning September 27th at 8pm ET.

More hero equipment!

• Commanders, you can purchase additional hero equipment in the event store now! This additional hero gear can be purchased for 10,000 gold coins!

Wildlife tweaks

Trophy crows are no longer the only wild animals that can carry trophies! In addition to the trophy crow, trophy chickens, frogs, bears, wolves, and raptors will also appear. As you discover new loot wildlife around the map, lairs and lairs will now appear at the edges of the map, where you can tame wolves, boars, and raptors without danger!

Commanders will also notice that wildlife is no longer as dense as before, and when you kill any wildlife, they won’t respawn as quickly or around you. Now you can clear the map more easily before it repopulates!

All of these wildlife tweaks will continue to apply after the Hexsylvania adventure season ends, but with Hexsylvania in full swing, the zombie chickens are back, so watch out! Luckily, they only appear during the Fortnitemares Venture season!

Unleash a devastating vortex attack!

Elegy – September 27, 8pm ET

• Unleash the power of Clip’s favorite creation: Elegy! This submachine gun can fire nine rounds in a row to make enemies sigh.

JONESEE-BOT – October 4, 8pm ET

• Standard perk: Oh My Eyes
  • Increases headshot damage to 50% based on the percentage of your missing health. (The more health you lose, the higher the damage.)
• Commander Bonus: Oh My Eyes+
  • Increases headshot damage to 50% based on the percentage of your missing health. (The more health you lose, the higher the damage.) Additionally, headshots have a 50% chance to summon an illusion.

BUG fix

The Fortnite v26.20 update includes a number of Save the World bug fixes, including:

• The Smashers intro video now plays reliably during the tutorial.
• Teddy bears will no longer shoot tamed wildlife.
• Dart projectiles now spawn correctly when the player is in or touching water.
• Fixed some wildlife SFX issues.
• Fixed an issue on PC that prevented players from using emote key bindings in the lobby.

Send a message to this system and others: The Ahsoka Tano costume will be unlockable in the Battle Pass starting September 26th at 9am ET! Complete Ahsoka Tano Battle Pass missions during Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 4 to unlock costumes and Ahsoka Tano accessories:

• loading screen

• Banner icons, pickaxe, spray and emoticons

• Back Shines, Wraps, Expressions and AHSOKA TNO Outfits!

If you purchased the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass, the Ahsoka Tano mission will be available in the Missions tab. These missions will last until the end of the season! (Completing the Ahsoka Tano mission requires purchasing the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass.)

For all marksmen, v26.20 introduces Marker Headshot Reality Enhancement. With this reality enhancement activated, your marksman rifle headshots will do even more damage!

Hit the target and take action – more parkour and fly dash reality enhancements available in v26.20 without any issues. Activate More Parkour to briefly restore energy with each sprint, and activate Soar Dash to jump higher with lower gravity while sprinting.

In case you missed it: September 20th Patch

In the September 20th patch, we made the following balance adjustments:

• Zyg and Choppy’s ray guns charge and fire faster.

• TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow charges, reloads and recharges faster.

• Smoking juice, in smaller quantities, drink wisely!

• The Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle has increased damage and faster fire rate.

• The Foundation’s MK-7 assault rifle has reduced damage and a slightly slower rate of fire.

• The Sticky Grenade Launcher has a slower rate of fire and a longer reload time. We’ve added a cooldown when swapping between two launchers.

• Gunnar’s Stinger SMG does slightly more damage per shot and has reduced vertical recoil.

Fortnite patch 26.20 downtime

The Fortnite team said on Twitter @FortniteStatus that downtime for the 26.20 update will begin at 3 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). They would have turned off matchmaking before to keep things running smoothly. For UK players, Fortnite will go completely offline at 8am BST and matchmaking will stop at 7.30am BST.

While Epic Games hasn’t given a specific timeline for how long the maintenance will take, past updates have suggested that Fortnite should be back and playable in the UK by 10am BST at the latest.
