Starfield Where to Find Tantalum? Which Planets Have Tantalum in Starfield?

Starfield Where can I find tantalum?

In the vast star field, various metals and resources are scattered on different planets and galaxies. These materials are essential for crafting weapons and ship upgrades, and they can also be sold for points. Tantalum is one such resource that plays a vital role in internal modifications of weapons and plays a variety of other roles in the interstellar universe. However, positioning in the wild can be quite challenging.

If you need tantalum, you have several options. You can purchase directly from certain suppliers. For example, I managed to purchase the tantalum I needed from Jemison Merchant in New Atlantis. It is also believed that some other vendors may carry this resource.

If you prefer to find and mine tantalum yourself, you’re in luck. When you complete the main mission, you’ll eventually reach Nesoi in the Olympus system, where you’ll encounter Tantalum. But keep in mind that it’s still fairly rare and can be found on the surface using a scanner.

To find Tantalum, use your scanner while exploring the Nesoi landscape. Check out each highlighted resource for Tantalum, represented by the periodic element symbol “Ta”. When you find it, use your cutting tool to fire the beam and collect resources.

It’s worth noting that tantalum may appear on other planets as well. You can check their availability in the Planet Survey screen, which provides a list of all resources found on a specific planet.
